WELCOME! Whether you are a newcomer to our school or an "oldtimer," we hope you will find this school year to be a memorable and exciting one.  Collaboration and cooperation are priorities in our school and are key to our successes.  Our partnerships with parents and the community are a source of pride for me.  Neil Armstrong is a "special" place.  As the students embark on the journey through Neil Armstrong they will experience many positive events.  Much of those are because of the support from our Parent/Teacher Organization.  I sometimes forget to acknowledge all that they do for the students at Neil.  Here is a partial list: Assemblies, fieldtrips, the school store, popcorn, expandable file folders for each child, team t-shirts for each child, the charity carnival, Olympic day, fun day, Kid's Stuff Books, cookie dough sales, etc. There are so many wonderful things that the PTO brings to Neil Armstrong.  I hope you will find some way to be a part of our group.  We are always looking for additional volunteers.  This year to accommodate parent schedules our PTO will hold both morning and evening meetings.  Please check the calendar and join us. I thank each of you for allowing us to be a part of your child's day.  They are a pleasure.  It is my honor to work with such an outstanding team of people- students, parents, teachers, and community members.
